This experience inspired her to develop a makeup line that could contribute to the lives of women by aiding the health of their skin. DEEPAK CHADHA NAMED VP OF REGULATORY AFFAIRS AT SUNEVA Suneva Medical (sunevamedical.com) has appointed Deepak Chadha to vice president, regulatory affairs. With nearly two decades of regulatory experience, Chadha will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of Suneva Medical's regulatory strategies. "Deepak has been responsible for several global regulatory strategies that have led to the successful submission and approval of aesthetic and therapeutic products in the U.S. and overseas," said Nicholas L. Teti, Jr., Chairman and CEO of Suneva Medical. "This track record is highly re- garded by Suneva Medical, and we welcome Deepak to the team, as he will help us meet our vision to be- come a standout in the aesthetics market." Prior to joining Suneva, Chadha held the role of vice president, regulatory affairs at KYTHERA. During his time at KYTHERA, Chadha successfully led their lead compound ATX-101 from an early clinical phase to an NDA stage. He has also served as vice president of global regulatory affairs at Allergan Medical. "I am pleased to join Suneva Medical's experienced management team and am optimistic that my role will help drive the company's growth strategy," said Chadha. GOLDBERG NAMED CMO OF AQUAVIT PHARMACEUTICALS David J. Goldberg, MD, JD, is the new chief medical offi cer of Aquavit Phar- maceuticals (aquavitpharma.com). Dr. Goldberg is a renowned dermatologist and is recognized nationally and internationally for his innovative work with skin lasers, cosmetic dermatology and facial rejuvena- tion techniques. Prior to joining Aquavit, He served as president of the ASLMS and is and or was on the Board of Directors of AAD, ASLMS and ASDS. Additionally, Dr. Goldberg is a clinical professor of dermatology and director of laser research at Mount Sinai School of Medicine, a clinical professor of dermatology and chief of dermatologic surgery at Rutgers New Jersey Medical School as well as the chief of dermatology at Hackensack University Medical Center and adjunct professor of law at Fordham Law School, where he teaches a course entitled, "Advances in Health Care Law". "We are thrilled to have Dr. Goldberg on board. He is an exceptional physician, researcher, and most importantly, a vision- ary with passion in life," said Sobin Chang, CEO of Aquavit Pharmaceuticals.
