For "Less Is More" (page 20), we asked physicians to share how their energy-based hair reduction treatments have evolved in recent years and what they feel practices need to do to provide the best outcomes to these patients. Rosacea is just one of the chronic skin conditions that has both a medical and aesthetic component, yet the causes of this painful and often embarrassing skin disease are not well understood. On page 32 ("Calming the Storm"), we look at current research into the underlying causes of rosacea and share the latest prescriptive, in-offi ce and over-the-counter treatment options for these patients.
